Healthcare Assistant, Brightlingsea
Colne Medical Centre
Colne Medical Centre have an exciting new opportunity for a healthcare assistant to join tour practice. This role can be offered on part-time basis, working 30 hours per week.
Colne Medical Centre is situated in the seaside resort of Brightlingsea, on the Essex Coast, and serves the whole of Brightlingsea as well as its surrounding villages and has a branch surgery at Alresford. They have a list size of just under 9,000 patients. The team includes 5 GPs, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Paramedic, 3 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants and a Pharmacy Technician, as well as the practice manager, administrative and reception staff.
We are looking for someone who has experience of assisting patients with clinical requirements, liaising with clinical staff for healthcare needs, carrying out health checks and must have experience of using clinical systems.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• A diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2.
• Experience of working with, and building working relationships with GP’s, nursing and administration staff.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as working in a team.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality.
